In conjunction with the Lighthouses of Prayer Ministry
(Ed Silvoso) we organized a neighborhood prayer-walk, which was followed by door-to-door visitation giving away a potted plant and offering to pray for the contacts and their families. The plants are three to four inch, popularly called prayer plants and were offered as a gift.

The objectives of the visitation were to demonstrate the love of God through the offer of a free gift and the offer of prayer, and to demonstrate the power of God through the opportunity for them to witness answered prayer in their lives. The next step in the outreach was a visit from an EE team to inquire regarding the specific prayer request received from the home and an attempt to share the Gospel using the EE questionnaire.

The congregation experiences the entire process of preparing the soil, planting the seed, nurturing the plant, and reaping the harvest.
