Multiplication

This story illustrates EE's principle of multiplication. It's from Mark Hager, Pastor of Outreach, First Church of the Nazarene, in Centralia, Washington.

"I was EE-trained in November of 1998. I've been used of God to win 60 people to Christ. I also took part in training five others in EE. Two of those, a couple, practiced with their ten-year-old daughter, Sydney, every day. Sydney received Christ as her Savior and was baptized last month. She then learned the EE outline.

"This month, Sydney shared the Gospel with her six-year-old friend, Ayla, during a special field trip to Mt. Ranier. Ayla prayed to receive Christ, and was baptized on Sunday, August 1, 1999. Ayla's father was one of the first persons I led to Christ through EE. He was so moved by Ayla's testimony that he joined EE for the spring semester. We praise God for EE and look forward to more testimonies as we build the EE ministry to the glory of Jesus Christ!"

Bus Evangelism

On a recent ministry trip to Sorsogon in the Bicol region of Philippines, Pastor Joel Macatangay, EE Coordinator for southern Tagalog provinces, traveled by bus for a ten hour trip from Lucena City. The bus had engine problems and was forced to stop many times. During each stop, Joel shared the Gospel with passengers.

He then began praying that the bus would stop several more times so he could share the Good News with more people. He noticed that some of the passengers with whom he had shared the Gospel were now introducing him to other passengers so he could share with them, too. The Lord used him that day—seven passengers prayed to receive Jesus!

Creativity in Colombia

A couple in Colombia, South America, EE Clinic Teachers, have a summer home near the city of Girardot on the Magdalena River. While there, they attend one of several churches in the area. They offered to teach EE in one of the churches. The pastor agreed. By the time training began, two other pastors were involved. With help from the Alliance church in Bogota, they trained 43 people including all three pastors and their wives.

During the training, over 600 people professed Christ as Savior! All three churches began building programs to accommodate new believers. One of them built a sanctuary to seat 700—their old one held 150. Due to the tremendous results, four other pastors in the area have expressed interest in EE. Another clinic will begin soon with 200 to 250 clinicians expected!
