Bold Bo Ji

Bo Ji attended the recently concluded EE clinic at Coral Ridge Presbyterian Church in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. He was raised in Shangai, China and now attends a Chinese church in St. Louis, Missouri.

The final evening of the clinic, Dr. James Kennedy, Founder of EE, challenged the clinicians to witness to at least one person within the following two days. "Even though I was tired," said Bo Ji, "I prayed to God for an open door to share the Gospel."

Bo Ji didn't find that opportunity on the plane ride home. He found it on the taxi ride from the airport to his house.

"We talked about many things," Bo Ji remembered. "I hesitated for awhile but then God filled me with the desire to speak." He asked the taxi driver, "Sir, do you go to church?" The driver said no. "I have some good news for you," Bo Ji responded. "But first, can I ask you a question?"

The driver agreed and after hearing a "works" answer to the second diagnostic question, Bo Ji shared the Gospel. At the conclusion of the Gospel, the driver said that he had never heard about this before and wanted to pray to receive Jesus as Savior.

"EE has helped me eliminate the nervousness," Bo Ji said. "To preach the Gospel at anytime, anywhere, and to anybody is no longer a barrier to me. It's so natural. Now, I am committed to share the Gospel to anybody."

To the ends of the earth

Years ago, Stalin ordered the creation of a special region in the USSR where Jews were forced to live It was called the Jewish Automonic Republic located in far east Siberia.

In November, Nickolay Revtov, Director for EE—Eurasia, traveled to the city of Birobijan, to conduct an EE clinic in that vast region. We praise God for such opportunities to preach the Gospel to the ends of the earth.

Already in Eurasia, 160 churches are implementing the EE ministry. Eurasia has 13 full and part time directors and coordinators, and 50 national clinic teachers. This year, more than 8,000 people have received Christ as Savior through EE-trained Christians in Eurasia.

No longer the "house of stone"

The harvest field in Zimbabwe, Africa is "white unto harvest." During recent EE clinics there, 137 Gospel presentations were made with 103 professions of faith in Christ.

During EE semesters, 357 people heard the Gospel and 114 prayed to receive Christ as Savior. While EE is not a "numbers game", we realize that these statistics keep us accountable in making disciples.

Zimbabwe, which means "house of stone", is seeing the Gospel crack the hard places. And the "Dark Continentî is experiencing the light of Christ.
