A letter from a fellow “fisherman”

“As you know, I shall always be thankful for Dr. Kennedy and his being led to begin EE. I tried every witnessing program offered in the Baptist church where my wife and I were members. None equals the effectiveness of EE in my opinion.”

Wise advice

Rebecca Nogy, an EE trainer living in Laguna Beach, California, felt God leading her to missionary work but wasn’t sure how. She participated in competitive speech in college and prayed to God, “Lord, how can I use this for you?” She discovered EE and is now a trainer. With God’s help, Rebecca found her calling. “EE completely fulfilled my desire to be a missionary,” she said.

Concerning her first semester she commented, “That first semester is hard but it’s a commitment to God.” As a trainer, Rebecca offers wise advice to trainees. “Any trainee that comes and gives a not-so-good excuse to drop out of EE, I remind them that they made a commitment to God by being involved in EE. When they consider that, the excuses just don’t hold up.”

Such faith!

Wayne Allen, 23, from Scotsville in South Africa recently sent this letter: “At the moment I’m studying Level I of EE. I took EE to equip me to effectively witness to fellow employees. So far I’ve reached everybody at work, even the boss’s wife. EE is most effective and gives me a kick to be able to ask people a few questions about their spiritual walk and then share the Gospel.”

This report from Europe

George Verzea, EE Vice President for Europe conducted an EE clinic in Galati. One of the trainees asked George to share the Gospel with a lady, whom the trainee said was very difficult.

The lady’s name was Ecaterina. She invited the EE team into her house. During the visit George learned that Ecaterina’s husband died nine years ago and she remained alone to raise two sons. “In the beginning, she was not very interested,” George said. “But seeing that we were interested in her problems, she started to ask questions.” George shared the Gospel. Then George was overjoyed when Ecaterina said that she wanted to receive Jesus as her personal Savior and Lord! George was also joyful for what that profession of faith in Christ meant to his trainees. “The trainee who led me to Ecaterina’s home was amazed at what an effective and clear presentation of the Gospel could achieve.” George was ecstatic in conclusion. “This is EE!!”

Sincere thanks

After teaching a clinic, Tom Stebbins, EE Executive Vice President, received a thank you card from the clinicians. The comments demonstrate how EE impacts lives for Christ.

Thank you for your commitment to the word of God, training others to do ministry. What you have shared is what I’ve known for years but couldn’t communicate clearly.

Thank you for coming to teach us. I was struck by your enthusiasm and sincere belief in the power of EE to change lives and churches. I was challenged to look for how God can use anybody as His instrument.

Thanks for teaching me the simplest way to reach out to the lost.

Thank you for this wonderful tool to help me share the greatest news I have ever heard.
